Confirmation Program
Holy Shepherd takes our Confirmation program very seriously. It is designed as a two-year program with the students being confirmed in May. Students usually enter the program when they begin 7th grade, and finish the program upon completing their 8th grade year. Classes meet every Monday at 6:30 p.m. September through April. Class time begins with instruction led by Associate Pastor Mike Zurek; then students move into small discussion groups with adult leaders. Parents have an opportunity to participate in a class with their child once a month.
Youth Groups
Middle and High School Students are invited to participate in the new youth group: LIFE. Life (Living In Faith Everyday) meets each Sunday. Jr. & Sr. High youth gather for joint fellowship from 6:30 to 7 p.m. They then split into separate groups for study and faith development until 8 p.m. Youth are encouraged to bring a friend!
